The flagship store of the Swedish retailer Hennes & Mauritz (H&M), located in Moscow on Tverskaya Street, will close on November 30. The store continues to sell stock at discounts up to 70%. This was reported “RIA News”.
According to the agency, the discount on clothes and shoes at H&M is 50%, on cosmetics and accessories – 70%. Most of the things presented in the trading floor are for children and women. The number of men’s clothes and household goods is limited. There is no excitement in the fitting rooms and in the trading floor, the correspondent said.
H&M suspended all sales in Russia in early March. In mid-July, H&M announced that the company was beginning to wind down operations in Russia, given “current problems” in doing business and an unpredictable future. As part of the liquidation process, the company temporarily opened stores to sell off the remaining stock. In early November, the press service of the company reportedthat H&M will leave Russia completely before the end of the year.
