RBC: fewer tranquilizers began to be supplied to Russia

Deliveries of imported prescription tranquilizers to Russia have decreased significantly, according to the calculations of the analytical company RNC Pharma. According to her, the drop in imports affected all foreign potent sedatives, with the exception of Freemium, officially registered in Russia.
The deliveries of products of the Latvian company Grindex sank the most: from January to October 2022, it imported 112.6 thousand packages of the Somnol drug into Russia, which is seven times less than in the whole of 2021. The French Sanofi imported 121,900 Imovan packs to Russia over the specified period, which is three times less than last year.
The supply of the Zlomax anxiolytic also fell by 2.5 times (29 thousand packs in ten months of this year against 71.8 thousand for the whole of 2021). Supplies of Polish Lorafen, Relium and Tazepam have completely stopped, explains RBC with reference to the RNC Pharma report.
Earlier regulators also fixed rise in price of imported medicines in Russia. In November, Roszdravnadzor issued warnings to 26 Moscow pharmacies due to overpricing of Danish-made Ozempic, a diabetes drug.
