Raymond Pauls spoke about his conflict with Pugacheva
Latvian composer Raimonds Pauls, who wrote many songs for Alla Pugacheva, said that they repeatedly quarreled and did not communicate for a long time, reports aif.ru.
Pauls said that Pugacheva did not invite him to her concerts when she came to Riga, and he himself did not buy tickets, considering that “it would be rude to come without an invitation.”
The song “It’s not evening yet” by Pauls and Ilya Reznik was originally written for Pugacheva, but she didn’t like the words. Pugacheva considered some lines to be a hint of the approaching end of her career. The song was proposed to Laima Vaikule.
Pugacheva celebrates her 75th birthday on April 15.
