Qatar Airways named World’s Best Airline for the 7th time

The best airline in the world in 2022 named Qatar Airways, which is awarded this title for the seventh time. The ceremony to announce the winners of the World Airline Awards, which has been held since 1999 by the British consulting company Skytrax, was held today in London at the Langham Hotel in person for the first time since 2019.
To assess the quality of service provided by more than 350 airlines, Skytrax conducted a survey of more than 14 million consumers in more than 100 countries from September 2021 to August 2022. Awarding Qatar Airways with the title of the best airline, representatives of Skytrax noted the high quality of its services, attention to passengers and dedication on the part of the company’s employees. The top 10 airlines also included Singapore Airlines, Emirates, All Nippon Airways (ANA), Qantas Airways, Japan Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Air France, Korean Air and Swiss International Airlines.
Qatar Airways also received awards in nine other categories, including Best Business Class Airline (first place) and Best Crew (sixth place). Singapore Airlines also has nine more awards and a victory in the Best Crew nomination. AirAsia became the best low-cost airline of the year, Ryanair – the best low-cost airline in Europe, ANA was named the cleanest airline.
