The company “Krymenergo” is registered in Simferopol. In October, the ex-head of Krymenergo arrested on charges of abuse of power. According to investigators, he was responsible for a criminal scheme in which an unofficial commission was created to inspect electricity meters.
As a result, consumers were accrued debts amounting to more than 13 million rubles. After inspections, the company fired six heads of regional electrical networks and four heads of the central office. Due to the discovered violations, the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, took personal control of the work of Krymenergo.
