Putin explained why foreigners need Russian culture

Russian leader Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, March 6, spoke at the closing ceremony of the World Youth Festival in Sochi, and after that spoke on various topics with participants in this international event.
As the head of state noted, the united Russian nation is based on traditional values - “in this sense, the Russian common culture is to a certain extent unique.”
Putin noted the diversity of our country’s culture and said that “it makes sense to get to know it better and understand it, especially for people who live abroad in Russia.”
Earlier, Vladimir Putin, commenting on the attempts of other countries cancel Russian culture, recalled the statement of one of the Russian musicians: “They’re just some fools.” However, the head of state urged not to do the same in relation to Ukrainian culture.
Italian President Sergio Mattarella said that Russian culture is an integral part of European culture, therefore attempts to abolish it are wrong. At the same time, the very idea of such a cancellation does not stand up to criticism, the politician emphasized.
