Putin awarded People’s Artist Baskov the Order of Honor

Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the Order of Honor to singer, People’s Artist of Russia Nikolai Baskov.
The decree of the head of state was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
Basque was awarded the order “for services to the development of national culture and art, many years of fruitful activity,” the document says.
Basque is a member of the board of the International Union of Pop Artists. He was also awarded the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree (in 2006), and the Order of Friendship (in 2017).
