Russian President Vladimir Putin allowed sell the Finndisp chemical enterprise, owned by Dow Europe Holding BV. The company is registered in the Netherlands and owned by the American Dow Inc.
The Finndisp plant for the production of polymer dispersions is located in Ramenskoye, Moscow region. As stated on website Dow, in Russia, in addition to this enterprise, it also has a plant for the production of polyurethane systems in Vladimir (“Dow Izolan”). Dow has been present in the country since 1974.
