Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg has resumed receiving and sending flights that were suspended earlier today, January 23, due to adverse weather conditions. This was announced by Andrei Drobovich, Deputy General Director of the Northern Capital Gateway Company (airport operator).
“At night there were heavy rainfall in the form of rain and sleet and strong side winds, which did not allow all aircraft to take off and land at our airport. At the moment, Pulkovo airport is operating normally, all flights that should be operated on schedule are being operated on schedule,” said Mr. Drobovich. His video message was published in Telegram– Pulkovo channel.
At the same time, Andrei Drobovich warned that weather conditions remain difficult, so changes to the airport schedule are possible. “Follow the schedule, use the information service and go to the airport in advance,” concluded the deputy general director of the Northern Capital Gateway.
