PSB organized the exchange of cash hryvnias for rubles in Avdeevka – Kommersant

Residents of Adveevka, located in the Pokrovsky district of the DPR, will be able to exchange cash hryvnia for Russian rubles. For this purpose, Promsvyazbank (PSB) opened a mobile banking office in the city. The exchange will be made at the rate of 1.25 rubles. for 1 UAH.

“Now PSB provides customer service in the city in an on-site format. The list of banking services available to the local population will expand as the city’s infrastructure is restored,” said Alexander Bobrik, manager of the Donetsk branch of the bank (quoted from website PSB). The bank will accept both coins and banknotes from Avdeevka residents for exchange.

In March Avdeevka visited Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko. He talked with local residents, gave them humanitarian aid and promised to help them obtain Russian citizenship,

Russian troops occupied Avdeevka in February 2024. Fighting for the city has been going on since the fall of 2023. Avdiivka has been under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since 2014 and was considered one of the main Ukrainian fortified areas near Donetsk.
