Products from IKEA suppliers began to be sold on the marketplace “Yandex.Market. The correspondent of Vedomosti was convinced of this.
You can find products in a separate section “IKEA products” on the website and in the mobile application of the marketplace. The Market notes that the goods are manufactured by the same companies and at the same factories as the products that were supplied to the retailer.
In particular, users can purchase bed linen, tables, chairs, as well as sofas, racks, chests of drawers, cabinets and shelves. In addition, household goods appeared on the site: dishes, textiles and storage boxes.
In the press service of “Yandex.Market” TASS confirmedthat products from 11 IKEA suppliers became available on the marketplace. It is noted that Market is negotiating to connect other companies that cooperated with the Swedish retailer to the site.
IKEA suspended work in Russia on March 4, after the start of a special operation in Ukraine, due to problems with logistics. At the beginning of the summer, IKEA announced that it had decided to sell all four plants in Russia and cut their employees.
At the end of June, the company announced the start of a sale for store employees. They could purchase goods in chain stores. On July 5, an online sale for all buyers started. Since then, users have repeatedly complained about crashes in the site. Difficulties arose due to the large number of people who wanted to buy IKEA products.
