The cost of vacation trips to Turkey from Russia in July averaged 83.4 thousand rubles. This is a historical maximum since the beginning of 2001. This follows from the analysis of RIA Novosti based on Rosstat statistics.
Prices for tours to Turkey have been gradually growing since 2001 (then a tour to this country cost an average of 11 thousand rubles). In January 2023, they cost 52.1 thousand rubles. Prices for tours have risen sharply in May – from 69 thousand rubles. to 76.2 thousand. In June, the cost increased to 81.1 thousand, in July – up to 83.4 thousand rubles.
In July 2023, prices for trips to other countries also reached a historical maximum: to Belarus – up to 29.3 thousand rubles, the countries of the Caucasus (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia) – up to 54.5 thousand, Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan , Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan) – up to 63.3 thousand rubles.
This year Türkiye for the first time entered in the top 5 most expensive holiday destinations for Russians, surpassing Thailand. Since the beginning of the year, more than 3 million Russians have rested in Turkey. At the cost of a ticket, Türkiye is inferior to the Maldives, Cuba and Sri Lanka.
