The outflow of funds from premium wealthy clients from Russian banks has virtually stopped, a study by Frank RG “Premium Banking in Russia 2023” showed. The total capital of clients in the premium segment in the first half of 2023 increased by 31% compared to the same period last year. The average amount of capital under management also increased. The study showed that the share of foreign currency in the savings of wealthy Russians fell by a quarter to 16.5% from 20% a year earlier. At the same time, the part of foreign currency savings coming in dollars and euros is decreasing, while in yuan and dirhams it is growing.
