Preferential mortgage program extended until June 2024

The Russian government has extended the term of the preferential mortgage until June 1, 2024. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
On site Government notes that, in accordance with the decree, the terms of the Family Mortgage program are being expanded. Now families with two children who are under 18 years old will be able to get a mortgage loan.
The maximum loan amount at a preferential rate in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Moscow and Leningrad regions is 12 million rubles. For other regions – 6 million rubles. Initial payment – not less than 15%.
From December 1 to December 22, 2022, banks issued 31.7 thousand loans at a reduced rate. In the incomplete year 2022, the volume of loans issued exceeded the indicators of previous years of the program. Issues traditionally grow in the last weeks of the year, when the demand for loans is stimulated, including New Year’s promotions.
