Pobeda passengers cannot fly from Dubai for more than a day due to two defective aircraft

Passengers of the Pobeda airline cannot fly from Dubai since the evening of February 13 due to a malfunction of the aircraft. Arrived reserve aircraft also turned out to be out of order. The flight has been rescheduled for February 15. This was reported RBC with reference to the press service of “Victory”.

“Flight DP992 of Pobeda Airlines, on the Dubai-Moscow route, was delayed due to a malfunction of the aircraft. A reserve board was provided for customers. However, after people boarded the reserve aircraft, information was received about the malfunction of the aircraft, ”the press service said.

The plane was supposed to take off on the evening of 13 February. According to the Telegram channel Base, boarding the plane ended at about 18:00 on February 13, but at 20:00 passengers were returned to the airport. First, the flight was postponed for several hours, then on February 14th. The reserve aircraft arrived in Dubai by 10:00 am, but by the evening the flight was also canceled due to its malfunction. Some passengers returned the money for their tickets and flew from Dubai with other airlines.

As passengers of the RBC flight reported, Pobeda provided passengers with food and water for the first time five hours after the flight was postponed. The airline also did not pay passengers for a taxi from the hotel to the airport. “Today (February 14 – “b”) did not give water, did not feed. Now they seem to be taken to hotels again. Departure is postponed to tomorrow (February 15 – “b”). I received an SMS from the airline that the departure was at 00:00 on February 15. At the same time, they didn’t pay for a taxi to and from the hotel yesterday, ”said one of their passengers on the flight.
