Pizza chain Domino’s Pizza will change its name to Domino Pizza

The Domino`s Pizza pizzeria chain, which was bought by rapper Timati (real name Timur Yunusov) and restaurateur Anton Pinsky, will change its name to Domino Pizza. Pinsky announced this at the presentation of the project.
In a month, “most of everything” will be redone, including recipes, the restaurateur said. He noted that agreements have already been reached with 60 points, negotiations are underway with the rest of the franchisees.
According to Pinsky, the Russian franchisees themselves asked for help, as the American owner “leaves them here.” The total investment amounted to about 100 million rubles, the restaurateur specified. He also added that it is likely that the new network will have around 150 outlets when it fully restarts.
On August 29, a representative of the project team told Vedomosti about the creation of a new brand. A week earlier, the Dutch company DP Eurasia, the owner of the master franchise Domino’s Pizza in Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, filed for bankruptcy of its Russian division. After that, Timati offered the owners of the company to buy out all pizzerias in the Russian Federation, having rebranded the network.
