No more than a few dozen companies out of 370 included in the unified federal register are fully ready to work with the “Electronic Tour” system, the press service of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (RST) reported. writes Interfax.

According to Mokhov, it is not yet clear how ready the system itself is for a real launch, taking into account the expected huge load.
“Electronic voucher” is a state information resource with data on vouchers, designed to ensure transparency of participants in the outbound, inbound and domestic tourism markets. The system was supposed to start operating in September, but the date for the entry into force of liability for failure to enter information into the system for tour operators was postponed to November 15. At the end of August, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia supported business proposal to postpone the start date of mandatory use of the “Electronic Tour” by tour operators.
In the summer, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) contacted the Ministry of Energy with a request to postpone the introduction of the system for at least a year due to the threat of hacking. “Electronic travel” will store both personal data of Russians and details of tourist trips, which makes this amount of data attractive to hackers, ATOR noted.
