The loss in the fourth quarter increased by 62%, to RUB 18.179 billion. The company explained this, among other things, by inflation and an increase in financial costs. Net loss in 2023 decreased by 27%.

At the end of last year, the turnover of entrepreneurs on the online platform increased 2.3 times. The number of active sellers almost doubled, to 450 thousand. The number of active buyers on the marketplace increased by 31%, to 46.1 million, and the number of orders increased by 2.1 times, to 965.7 million people.

“Based on current trends and forecasts, Ozon expects GMV, including services, to grow approximately 70% year-on-year in 2024 and adjusted EBITDA to remain positive in 2024,” the company added.

In mid-March 2024, Ozon announced that for pick-up points with a turnover of more than 2 million rubles. A new fee will be introduced in April. At the same time, the site clarified that it will be calculated individually and will affect only 10% of Ozon’s partners. However, based on the results of a survey in which 600 pick-up point owners took part, it turned out that 50% of them will have to pay 20-70 thousand rubles. per month. Ozon partners have already prepared an appeal to the FAS.
