Ozon talks about preparing for damages after a fire in a warehouse

The Ozon marketplace uploaded data on positions that were burned during a fire at the company’s warehouse to the personal accounts of sellers. Now Ozon asks to confirm the amount of compensation before September 27, after which the retailer will be able to start processing payments, informed company in its Telegram channel.
“A report has just been posted to the personal accounts of sellers with all the positions that were in New Riga. You can go to it from the main page – click on the button in the banner – or through the “Analytics” – “Reports” section. They showed there which goods burned down with blocks No. 2 and No. 3, and which ones were still being inventoried, ”the message says.
In addition, the report clarifies that so far there are no positions in the report that ended up in a fire at the acceptance or in cross-docking. Details about them will be collected for each seller in a separate report. The company plans to generate this report by the end of September.
Ozon asked sellers to review the provided report and complete a survey. It will indicate the amount of compensation that they can agree or disagree with. The company noted that the payments will be made before September 30, but if you do not study the report and do not take their survey before September 27, then they will receive the payment later.
On August 3, a fire broke out at one of the Ozon warehouses in the Istra district of the Moscow region. Fire damage then appreciated about 10 billion rubles. The next day, firefighters put out the open fire at the company’s warehouse. 133 firefighters and 45 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The area of the fire was 55,000 square meters. m.
