The marketplace reported that the “fee for critical violations” appeared in the summer, but until October 2, no more than 10% of this fee was charged. “We have now expanded the list of situations in which card processing fees apply. For example, if the seller violates the law and places a product card for adults with images of naked parts of the body, but does not indicate the 18+ marking. Or if the image on the card violates copyright,” the press service reported.

A reduced commission of 0.5% on Apple equipment, as explained by Ozon, was introduced at the time of the release of the new product. After the hype subsided, “the company warned sellers that in two weeks the commission would return to its previous level.”

A so-called freeze is imposed against partners who exceed the threshold of one third of canceled orders. In a week, the seller can set up processes “to fulfill orders without problems,” according to Ozon.
