The concert of Kristina Orbakaite scheduled for March 19 in Vladivostok was canceled by the decision of the organizers and the Fesco Hall concert hall. The day before, Vladivostok Mayor Konstantin Shestakov recommended the concert organizers cancel the performance.

“The concert has been cancelled. We ourselves made this decision – the venue and the organizer,” a representative of the Fesco Hall concert hall told TASS.

The mayor of Vladivostok also recommended canceling Diana Arbenina’s concert. He also had to go through Fesco Hall. However, the organizer of the performance said that the concert is now planned at another venue – the Fetisov Arena. “We have a unified ticketing system. I think the organizer will decide now,” the interlocutor added.

The basis for the mayor’s recommendation to cancel the concerts was an appeal from the all-Russian public movement “Cultural Front of Russia” with a demand to cancel the singers’ performances in Vladivostok. The day before it became known that Kristina Orbakaite’s concerts, planned in Blagoveshchensk on March 15 and 16, were postponed to other dates. The singer’s concert in Khabarovsk was also postponed. But in Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk and Ulan-Ude, performances were cancelled. In Buryatia – after an appeal from the local branch of the All-Russian public organization of veterans “Combat Brotherhood”. Activists referred to Kristina Orbakaite’s American citizenship, but this information denied her representative.

Kristina Orbakaite’s mother, Alla Pugacheva, has repeatedly publicly spoken out against the fighting in Ukraine and, after February 2022, emigrated from Russia with her husband Maxim Galkin, whom the Ministry of Justice recognized as a foreign agent.
