It’s not often that there’s a song in the local music scene that everyone is talking about. With dance bombs, the shortage is not so obvious, but everyone is also happy about the appearance of tracks for energetic body movements. “ZD” is studying the music landscape.
The current hit parade layout is probably best described as “Orbakaite and the rest.” To the “others”, by the way, there are no complaints, because they, in general, tried. Filatov & Karas, with their usual dexterity, made a dance banger with an eye to at least the May holidays. And “Past Me” is put together with the duet’s characteristic scope and flair for rhythm, which will rock large crowds.
Artik & Asti also pumped their ability to turn people on, igniting bachelorette parties and corporate parties. Maybe it turned out to be a little routine in terms of sound, but you can’t confuse it with anyone even before the vocals sounded in “The Doll”.
Olga Seryabkina and Marie Crimebrery have once again proved their ability to create smooth girlish modern pop with catchy choruses. And Sheikh and Zadonskaya start with the chorus, and they probably do it right. Finally, Vanya Dmitrienko paints his trademark plot in the style of “you are too old, you don’t understand” and is not shy about the “pizza-fall in love” rhyme, which, of course, is only forgiven by young people.
Kristina and her “Alla Will Sing” at such a celebration of life may be a little alien, but it was this old-fashioned and passionate song that created a real storm in the media space and social networks. How did it happen? There would be no happiness, but misfortune helped? An exact understanding of what exactly people are lacking right now? Or just luck, which is quite common in the music industry?
No one will give an exact answer, but the version of what and who people really lack looks quite convincing. Recently, songwriting and producing tracks have become eerily mechanical processes, and in such a situation, emotions become especially valuable without regard to how it should be and how it should be right. “Alla Will Sing” is a completely wrong song by today’s standards. Archaic in sound, meaningful and story-driven in content. But it is precisely such songs and their success that give hope that music is still a magical world, and not a business manual. By the way, the words were written by Natalya Kasimtseva, among whose latest compositions are the lyrics of the song “Motherland”, performed by Grigory Leps. Still, in Russia, the author’s talent does not fit into logical schemes, which, of course, only pleases, no matter how verbose and apologetic the author herself is now brushing aside her offspring.
