The average cost of Olivier salad for a family of four in Russia over the year increased by 84.7 rubles. (+18.4%), up to 460.4 rub. The agency was told about this TASS at Rusprodsoyuz.
When calculating the average cost of salad, the association took into account the prices of potatoes (500 g), carrots (200 g), chicken eggs (4 pcs.), boiled sausage (300 g), mayonnaise (200 g), onions (100 g), as well as green peas (380 g) and fresh cucumbers (400 g).
Rusprodsoyuz clarified that carrots have risen in price over the year from 33 rubles. per kg up to 41.9 rub. per kg, onions – from 29.3 rubles. up to 32.7 rub. per kg, a dozen eggs – from 78.2 rubles. up to 97 rubles, boiled sausage – from 478.5 rubles. up to 505.6 rub. per kg, canned peas – from 80 rubles. per jar up to 95 rubles, cucumbers – from 100.9 rubles. per kg up to 108.7 rub. per kg. At the same time, mayonnaise fell in price over the year – from 280.2 rubles. per kg up to 276.9 rub. per kg and potatoes – from 30 rubles. per kg up to 27.8 rub. per kg.
The cost of the “Herring under a fur coat” salad, as specified by Rusprodsoyuz, did not exceed inflation. The price of herring has remained virtually unchanged over the year, while the price of mayonnaise has decreased, the association clarified.
Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Victoria Abramchenko reportedthat the increase in food prices in the Russian Federation at the end of 2023 will not exceed inflation – it is predicted to be no higher than 7.5%. At the beginning of 2024, as Kommersant learned, manufacturers are preparing to increase selling prices by 5-20% for a wide range of goods from dairy products, coffee, juices, rice to confectionery.
