Oil exports and transit from the Russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk in November amounted to approximately 1.2 million tons out of the planned 2.34 million tons, according to calculations cited by Reuters. The decline in indicators was affected by unfavorable weather, the agency notes.
November 27 Caspian Pipeline Consortium announced about the suspension of loading from the sea terminal near Novorossiysk due to the storm, the tankers were diverted to waiting areas. On that day, winds of up to 22–24 m/s were observed in the Novorossiysk area, and the wave height reached 6–8 m. The resumption of CPC shipments was reported on November 30.
November 27 Transneft stopped loading of oil from the port of Novorossiysk. Due to bad weather, it has been operating intermittently since mid-November. By that time, according to Kpler information, the Urals tanker was last loaded from Novorossiysk on November 22, and November 26 was the last shipment of a tanker with gasoline. Urals and Siberian Light oil grades are exported through Novorossiysk, and Kazakhstan’s KEBCO is also transited.
