Oil refining in Russia continues to grow

[ad_1]

The volume of oil refining in Russia in April 2023 increased by 13.3% compared to April last year and reached 23.08 million tons. This was reported by two sources of Vedomosti familiar with the statistics of the Ministry of Energy.

At the same time, Russian refineries last month reduced refining volumes by 5.3% compared to March 2023. The average daily decline (taking into account the fact that March is one day more) was only 2.2%: the processing volume in April was 769,400 tons/day, in March – 786,500 tons/day. The negative dynamics is also associated with the beginning of the season of planned repairs at the refinery. According to the St. Petersburg International Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (SPIMEX), at the end of April, repairs were scheduled at the Achinsk, Tyumen (Antipinsky), Khabarovsk and Yaya refineries (Vedomosti wrote about this on April 21).
