OFAS St. Petersburg opened two cases against Yandex because of the advertising of dietary supplements

The Department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of St. Petersburg opened two administrative cases against Yandex due to advertising dietary supplements without the necessary warning, informed department press office.
The OFAS recalled that advertising of dietary supplements must be accompanied by a warning that the object of advertising is not a medicine (according to Article 25 of the law on advertising). Where such advertising was published, they did not specify.
If the company’s guilt is proven, Yandex faces a fine under Art. 14.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
