“October” showed a new comedy about Russian hackers

On Wednesday, October 4, at the Oktyabr cinema, the premiere of the comedy series “In short, this is the plan” (16+) about Russian hackers, created by the production company WMG with the participation of NMG Studio and with the support of the Internet Development Institute (ANO IRI) took place. ). Races, adventures, crazy races around the world, seasoned with love and the Russian spirit – this is how guests of the event spoke about the creation.

“This is a story about cheerful adventurers who were engaged in various “things” until they were captured and given a choice: to go to places not so distant or to benefit the country. They made the right choice. After all, they were not bad people from the very beginning. These are Robin Hoods who, despite their differences, had to become a team,” said general producer of the series Vadim Galygin.

The characters of the series live in different parts of the world, they know each other only by nicknames and have never seen each other in real life. Together, the team successfully gutted the electronic wallets of the rich until they were caught due to a ridiculous mistake. Then they all faced a choice. Now it’s not easy money at stake, but the freedom and security of the whole world.

“I took a programming course in high school. But my only desire then was to break the computer and throw it out the window. But hacking is more interesting. You don’t stick to rules and languages. I didn’t try to make my hacker real, I wanted to add more features to the character that would be catchy. And the main, our, domestic trick is the Russian “at random” or “maybe”. This is what the entire team of hackers was counting on in the plot,” Nikita Bogatov shared details about his character, nicknamed BOSS.

The performer of the role of Red Queen, the adventurer, beauty and female part of the team, Sofya Kashtanova, believes that the concept of “Russian hacker” should become a brand. And she complains that even though her character is a 100% wonder woman, she does not have computer skills at the level of her colleagues.

“It started out as a very simple comedy, and we didn’t think that the topic we raised would be so relevant. The whole story connected with adventures, with hackers, with adventures, it became even more interesting. We decided to think about how all this could happen in such a cinematic and humorous form. I hope that young people will watch the series from the right angle and will not take everything that happens seriously. Our heroes, although on the light side, do not always do the most correct things from the point of view of legislation. We want to inspire young people to go out and do something and not sit still. And if it is also useful for the country, for society, that’s great. Our creation is the patriotism of a “healthy person,” explained the situation with the script and the meaning of the series, the general producer of the film, Vladimir Mikulich.

“Everyone has long wanted to make a funny, good film about Russian hackers. And it seems that it worked. And the point is not in the hackers themselves, but in the idea that the Russians are doing the whole world. This will always be relevant. Seriously speaking, these heroes – no matter how they behave, no matter what they do – they represent Russian Internet sovereignty. Their methods may look funny, strange, incorrect, but let’s not forget that this is an artistic exaggeration,” commented Alexei Goreslavsky, general director of ANO IRI.
