Nvidia has entered into partnerships with Indian Reliance and Tata Group – Kommersant

American technology company Nvidia signed two partnership agreements with large Indian companies Reliance Industries and Tata Group on the same day. Both partnerships will specialize in developments in the field of artificial intelligence.

As part of a partnership with a conglomerate Reliance Industries companies will create language models that will learn in the numerous languages ​​used in India. Nvidia and Reliance are planning to build an AI infrastructure in India that will run much faster than the country’s fastest supercomputers. AI-based applications and services will be available primarily to 450 million customers of Reliance’s telecommunications division, Jio, as well as scientists, developers and startups across the country, the parties said in a statement.

Within partnerships With the Tata Group, the parties to the agreement will also create a supercomputer using AI based on the NVIDIA GH200 Grace Hopper superchip, cloud infrastructure and AI language models. The Tata Group hopes to transform the work of numerous divisions of the conglomerate using AI technologies.
