Novelties of agricultural machinery in Moscow

From October 4 to October 7, 2022, the largest industry-wide international exhibition of agricultural machinery and equipment AGROSALON 2022 in the Russian Federation is being held in Moscow, at the Crocus Expo IEC.

In his welcoming speech to the organizers, participants and guests of the exhibition, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation – Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov noted that the development of domestic agricultural engineering is aimed primarily at maintaining a high level of modernization and equipping with new models of agricultural equipment, without which the successful implementation of the Food Doctrine is impossible. security of the Russian Federation: “I am convinced that AGROSALON will traditionally become a place for a comprehensive and constructive dialogue between manufacturers and consumers of agricultural machinery products, bring new contracts, serve to develop cooperation, give an additional impetus to the development of the industry and the agro-industrial complex of the country as a whole,” Denis Manturov emphasized.

The AGROSALON exhibition is attended by heads of federal ministries and departments, regional authorities, the leadership of the Rosspetsmash Association, the largest agricultural machinery companies, agricultural holdings and farms, regional delegations and industry experts, representatives of banks and leasing organizations.

The exhibition, which covers an area of ​​45,000 sq. meters, acts as an intermediary between the creators of equipment and farmers. The stands and open areas present the whole range of technical and technological means for efficient agricultural production: combines, tractors, forage harvesting and tillage equipment, sowing complexes and loading machines, equipment for fertilization, plant protection, post-harvest processing and storage of crops, thousands of components. But most importantly, modern IT developments for “smart” agriculture are actively promoted. Manufacturers from Europe are practically invisible, their place was confidently and with pleasure taken by the Chinese, Serbs and Turks.

Among the new products are the RSM F 1300 R forage harvester and the T 500 combine harvester with the Russian YaMZ engine, the KSU 2 high-performance self-propelled mower for livestock breeders, the domestic Kirovets tractor with an autopilot system and the Tuman-3 sprayer-spreader, which has no analogues in the world, as well as many other models. You can evaluate the driving characteristics of the machines during demonstration shows, where unmanned samples will also be presented. By the way, the test drive of drones is the brightest and most visited booth of the exhibition.

You enter the site, and an agricultural drone flies at you. It is not just a toy, such a “bird” can pollinate crops around the clock. A tank of 30 liters is enough to process three hectares. Looking at the exhibits, it becomes clear: a new era in the production of agricultural machinery has already begun!

Here is the stand of the legendary Rostselmash, the largest platform at the exhibition. There are record-breaking harvesters here – those that have collected a huge amount of grain and corn in an eight-hour shift. They are being examined, but there is, of course, increased interest in automated systems. Cleaning is controlled from the satellite, plus a “smart” camera that sees an obstacle and stops the car. Alexander Konovalov, a representative of the company, explains that in 2-3 years one operator will work in the field, and dozens of machines, without interfering with each other, will harvest the crop themselves. Firstly, the depreciation of equipment is less, secondly, this time, and thirdly, fuel is an important indicator for the economy.”

Rostselmash combines operate in Egypt, Africa, the Middle East, and plan to expand exports to Asia. Now the company produces 150 different models and modifications of agricultural machinery. Last year, more than 6.5 thousand combines and 1,600 tractors rolled off the assembly line. Machines of the enterprise work on fields in all regions of the country. In the next seven years, Rostselmash plans to release another 90 new models. To do this, you need to expand your own production. Now the company has 13 factories, which produce more than 35 thousand parts. Another 16,000 are purchased from Russian manufacturers. One of these projects is the creation and development of a plant for transmissions, axles and gearboxes for combine harvesters, tractors and road construction equipment.

Nearby is the stand of the famous Kirovets. Farmers gasp with delight and share their impressions: 10 years ago they would not have looked in the direction of domestic equipment, but the situation has changed, and the machines have become noticeably better. Yes, imported equipment was bought a long time ago, there is a lot of wear and tear, the fleet needs to be renewed, so we are switching to domestic equipment.

Today, only 7% of Russian farmers work digitally, in Europe – 10 times more. Modern technology will make life much easier for farmers, because harvesting is a very difficult and difficult job, and taking into account the fact that a shift in harvest can last 8, 10, 12 or more hours, it is tiring. An unmanned harvester will free machine operators from unnecessary work and give strength. The latest technologies will help machine operators to set up the combine in the field: crop harvesting parameters are set in order to pay more attention to the technical process, and not to driving the combine itself across the field. The work of the technician is monitored from a distance. Farmers immediately learn about the work without leaving the room. The route, fuel, fertilizers – the on-board computer of the combine will then combine everything into a report – the equipment is becoming smarter, it is useful to comprehend IT technologies in the countryside.

At the stand of the Almaz JSC Altai Research Institute of Engineering Technology JSC, you can see the production of an S-shaped cultivator rack, which was previously purchased in Western Europe, developed jointly with partners and implemented in their own production. Today, only ANITIM makes such a detail in Russia. For the first time, an addition to the VITA SZ-5.4 grain-fertilizer seeder, an electronic seeding control system, created by the institute’s specialists, is presented. Thanks to the system, it will become much easier to control the process and quality of sowing, change parameters and troubleshoot the seeder. The seeder with a new control system is designed for row sowing of seeds of grain, leguminous and small-seeded crops with the simultaneous application of fertilizers. A novelty among the line of cultivators is the universal sectional cultivator ALTAI KSU-8, for early pre-sowing cultivation and formation of a seed bed, processing fallows, weed control, as well as incorporation of fertilizers and crop residues. In addition to the stand with equipment, exhibitors can get acquainted with spare parts produced by Almaz factories. They will be presented at separate stands, where special attention will be paid to import substitution.

On the final day of work, students from the leading agricultural universities of Russia will come to the exhibition to join the world of agricultural machinery and see what they have to work with. Young specialists will raise their level of knowledge within the framework of the Youth Day and will find future employers among the participants, which is especially important in the face of a shortage of personnel.

In addition to the exposition part, the exhibition hosts a forum with a business and educational program, which includes dozens of seminars, master classes and conferences.
