NLMK has changed its president – Kommersant

Shareholders of Novolipetsk Iron and Steel Works (NLMK (MOEX: NLMK)) (MOEX: NLMK) elected Sergei Karataev to the position of president of the company. The decision was made at a meeting on January 6, says the message on the NLMK website.
Mr. Karataev will take over as president of the company on January 12. He will hold this position at least until the next annual meeting of shareholders in 2025. The previous head of the company, Grigory Fedorishin, will remain a member of the board of directors.
Before being elected president of NLMK, Sergey Karataev was vice president of the company. Previously, he also headed First Freight Company (PGK) and held senior positions at Novartis International AG and Rostselmash.
At the end of November, Kommersant wrote that Sergei Karataev was being considered as the new president of NLMK. At the beginning of the same month, Mr. Karataev sent a message to Freight One’s employees about the completion of the sale of the company.
