Diva of Russian romance, singer Nina Shatskaya spoke at the MK press center about her travels, participation in the performance and intuition.
“For several years now, there has been a project that I really love: this is the play “Lost Birds” based on the work of Garcia Márquez “Love in the Time of Plague”. This is a theatrical performance in which I move a lot, I don’t just stand statically with a microphone, Nina says.
“I feel in demand when I’m on stage – that’s how my life has turned out. When I am not working, the energy that allows me to be radiant and happy dries up very quickly: I relax, slow down, and I no longer want to do something so much. In general, I’m probably an adrenaline addict, but at the same time I never do what I’m afraid of.
I am intuitive, I always listen to myself. I was very scared in Cameroon, for example: there is no connection, bad roads, and people are like that – we would say frostbitten, but they are more likely overheated.
But, of course, I love to travel, now I want to visit the farthest corners of Russia. During tours, I always strive to get to know the city, to see the area, if this is a region that I have never been to before. I recently visited Ulan-Ude, and I was struck by the city: these architraves, shutters – what a chic condition the house is in, and how people take care of it, ”says the singer.
