TV presenter Ivan Urgant reported RBCthat the KION online cinema removed the New Year’s TV show “Incident in the Country of Multi-Pulti” with his participation.
“The tale was indeed taken off the air. Whether it will be available, I don’t know. Why the project was removed, I have no idea. I rate these actions at ”four minus”,” Mr. Urgant said.
She announced the withdrawal of the TV show from the show in her Telegram channel television critic Arina Borodina. According to her, the project initially did not advertise the TV presenter’s participation in the project, but announced this only on the eve of the premiere. Ivan Urgant played the role of Carlson in the film. The TV show is now available on YouTube.
“The Incident in the Country of Multi-Pulti” is a film adaptation of the 1982 audio fairy tale of the same name, which, according to the creators of the TV show, was sold in the USSR with a record circulation. In addition to Ivan Urgant, Danila Kozlovsky, Alexander Petrov, Sergey Burunov, Ksenia Rappoport, Alexei Serebryakov and Ekaterina Varnava starred in the film, among others.

In February, the media wrote that the TV presenter left the Russian Federation and quit Channel One, where he broadcasts Evening Urgant. Subsequently, the TV channel refuted information about the dismissal of the TV presenter. In May, the channel also refuted information about the closure of the Evening Urgant project.
