Net profit of Uralmashzavod under IFRS halved in the first half of the year

According to the results of the first half of 2022, the net profit of the Ural Heavy Engineering Plant (Uralmashzavod) group under IFRS decreased to 207.9 million rubles. This is 2.3 times less than in the first half of 2021. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the company’s financial statements.
As follows from the reporting, gross profit for the first half of the year amounted to 1.9 billion rubles, which is 1.8 times more than in 2021. Operating profit amounted to 1.25 billion rubles, which is 1.7 times more than in the first half of 2021.
In the first half of the year, EBITDA increased 1.6 times to RUB 1.4 billion. Revenue of Uralmashzavod increased to 7.85 billion rubles, which is 32.2% more than the same period in 2021.
Revenue from the sale of mining equipment increased to 4.6 billion rubles. (+32.2%), revenue from the sale of machinery – up to 2.8 billion rubles, which is 1.9 times more than the previous similar indicator.
Formerly Uralmashzavod I decided not pay dividends for 2021. The company plans to allocate 250 million rubles, 95% of profit for 2021, to pay off losses from previous years.
