Swiss food and beverage manufacturer Nestle introduced today its reporting for the first quarter of 2023. The company’s sales rose 5.6% to SFr23.5 billion ($26.5 billion).
Sales growth, despite the adverse impact of the exchange rate, occurred, according to CEO Mark Schneider, primarily due to higher prices for their products. The increase was 9.8%, which the company said reflected “significant price inflation.”
The manufacturer reiterated its full-year sales growth forecast of between 6% and 8%.
