The head of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), Sergei Naryshkin, said that the department has materials that point to the West’s footprint in leaks on the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines. In his opinion, the West is trying to “hide the true perpetrators and organizers” of the leaks.
“We already have some materials that point to the Western footprint in the organization and implementation of this terrorist act,” Sergei Naryshkin told reporters (quoted from TASS).
“In my opinion, the West is doing everything to hide the true perpetrators and organizers of this international terrorist act,” he added.
On September 26, Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 sharply fell pressure. Denmark has identified a “huge” leak in the gas pipeline. Sweden stated that this was due to the explosions.
