At the age of 76, the famous American athlete and actor, star of the films “The Naked Gun,” “Capricorn Alone,” and “The Towering Inferno,” O. J. Simpson, died.

According to Sky News, the actor’s family released a statement on the X network, saying that Orenthal James Simpson died on April 10 from cancer, surrounded by his children and grandchildren.

In 1994, the actor was accused of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown-Simpson and her lover, young waiter Ronald Goldman. But in 1995 he was acquitted and escaped execution. But then he finally went to prison in 2008 for armed robbery and kidnapping and was released on parole in 2017.
