MTS has completed the sale of business in Armenia – Kommersant

Telecommunications company MTS (MOEX: MTSS) announced the completion of the transaction to sell 100% of the shares of its subsidiary MTS Armenia (Viva-MTS). The new owner is the Cypriot Fedilco Group Limited.
“The transaction also included MobiDram CJSC, a payment system providing financial services in the Armenian market, a 100% subsidiary of MTS Armenia,” the message said on website companies.
The MTS press service clarified that the company has received all the necessary corporate approvals and permits from Armenian regulators.
MTS Armenia was 100% owned by the Cypriot Aramayo Investments Limited – through the Luxembourg Allegretto Holding it is 100% owned by MTS. In April 2023, the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) and the Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition of Armenia refused in permission to change the owner of MTS Armenia shares.
