More than 6 million people opened accounts on Moscow Exchange in 2022

At the end of 2022, the total trading volume on the Moscow Exchange increased by 4.5%, up to 1.1 quadrillion rubles. The money market grew the most (+41.2%) and the grain and sugar market (4.9 times). For 2022, the Moscow exchange index collapsed by 43%, from 3787.29 to 2154.12 points. The RTS dollar index fell by 39.18%, from 1595.76 to 970.6 points.
