Hayao Miyazaki, an 83-year-old director, is known for films such as Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, Whisper of the Heart, Laputa Castle in the Sky and My Neighbor Totoro.

His film Spirited Away also won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature. In 2014, Miyazaki received an honorary Oscar for his contribution to world animation.
