Russian entrepreneurs have demonstrated their responsibility and integrity after reducing inspections, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting of the government commission for the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
Mishustin recalled that as a result of the introduction of a moratorium on inspections in 2022, their number was reduced to less than 340,000, which is a historical minimum. And for the share SME accounted for only a third of the inspections of this number.
“We are glad to see that the business, for its part, approached the work responsibly and conscientiously,” Mishustin said.
The prime minister also noted the important role played by the reorientation of controllers towards prevention.
“There have been more than 506,000-510,000 such visits. When entrepreneurs were helped, explained how to do it right, and not fined,” he added.
Earlier on May 26, Mishustin said that small business in Russia showed himself from the best side against the backdrop of sanctions, demonstrating diligence and love for the country. Mishustin also noted that small and medium-sized businesses in Russia adapted to the sanctions “not badly”, as evidenced by the increase in the number of registered companies.
At the end of March, Russian President Vladimir Putin urged not to relax as the economy entered the growth trajectory. The head of state noted that the country’s economy has been demonstrating positive dynamics since July last year. This happened due to the development by Russian business of the niches vacated after the departure of Western companies, as well as the development of ties with the growing countries of the East and South.
