Mishustin: Cabinet support measures saved businesses more than 300 billion rubles

In 2022, the government facilitated entrepreneurial activity, thanks to support measures, businesses and citizens were able to save more than 300 billion rubles. This was announced by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin during a speech in the State Duma with a report on the work of the government in 2022.

He recalled that last year the Cabinet reduced income tax rates for enterprises in a number of industries, and VAT on hotel services was also zeroed. In addition, the government has introduced preferential credit programs for businesses. In particular, backbone enterprises in industry, energy, information technology, etc. received almost 1.5 trillion rubles.

“These measures allowed companies and citizens to save over 300 billion rubles,” Mishustin said.

The prime minister also noted the reduction in the administrative burden and the postponement of the introduction of a number of mandatory requirements for businesses.

March 17 Mishustin informedthat the government extended the moratorium on business inspections for eight years. Scheduled inspections during this period will be carried out only at high-risk facilities.
