Mikron doubled its revenue in the first three quarters of 2023

Based on the results of three quarters of 2023, the revenue of the Zelenograd semiconductor manufacturer Mikron JSC increased to 6.8 billion rubles. (+102% year on year). The company’s net profit for the same period amounted to 432 million rubles. A year earlier, for three quarters of 2022, the plant showed a loss of 1.27 billion rubles. The value of the JSC’s net assets over the period year-on-year increased from 9.4 billion to 13.1 billion rubles. The “other income” indicator increased from 136 million to 1.092 billion rubles. According to SPARK-Interfax, JSC Mikron is 89.24% owned by JSC Element (owned by Rostec and AFK Sistema). The remaining shares of the plant are held by the Federal Property Management Agency and individuals. The plant produces microelectronics, including chips for bank and transport cards. The press service of Micron, as well as AFK Sistema, did not respond to Kommersant’s requests.

In 2023 the enterprise reported about a more than two-fold increase in the production of semiconductors; in addition, the Ministry of Industry and Trade reported that from 2024 the plant intends establish sales of chips for M2M SIM cards.
