Microsoft will close access to Power BI and Dynamics CRM services for Russian companies

Microsoft, Amazon and Google will suspend access to cloud products for Russian legal entities from March 20, reported Softline. We are talking, in particular, about Power BI and Dynamics CRM services. The decision was made in connection with sanctions that limit the supply of software and other products to the Russian Federation.
“According to letters from copyright holders, from this date access to cloud products, such as (including, but not limited to): Power BI, Dynamics CRM and others will be discontinued. We expect that the suspension will also affect cloud solutions containing these products,” Softline said in a statement.
From March 20, Russian companies will not be able to use these products or access the data they contain. The copyright holders in the letter referred to the requirements of the new provision of EU Regulation 833/2014, which restricts the supply of various types of software to Russia. “We can talk about all cloud products from Microsoft, Amazon and Google, which copyright holders determine as prohibited for delivery to the Russian Federation in accordance with the requirements of the above Regulations,” Softline clarified.
