“Earlier today, a technical issue resulted in people having difficulty accessing some of our services. We resolved the problem as quickly as possible,” the press secretary wrote on his page on the social network X.

According to Downdetector, large-scale disruptions in the work of Facebook and Instagram (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist and banned) were reported by users from the United States, Great Britain, Italy, Germany, France, and Spain. Malfunctions also occurred in the work of YouTube, Discord, Google, Gmail, WhatsApp (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist and banned). Previously, Hong Kong Internet provider Hutchison Global Communications reported about damage to four of 15 communication cables in the Red Sea.
