MegaFon will open a representative office in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, in October. The company will focus on implementing digital projects for business and society, drawing on experience in the B2B and B2G segments, it said press service MegaFon.
Alexander Kaloshin, director of national projects at MegaFon, has been appointed director of the company’s representative office in Kyrgyzstan. Mr. Kaloshin will combine his new position with work on the implementation of projects in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT), the press service reports.
“We have extensive experience in implementing digital projects both in Russia and abroad. Our technologies help economic sectors, large enterprises and entire cities solve their problems every day more efficiently, more economically and faster. I am confident that this experience will be in demand more than ever in Kyrgyzstan,” the press service quotes Mr. Kaloshin as saying.
It is reported that MegaFon has planned several pilot projects in Kyrgyzstan in various social and industrial sectors by the end of the year. In particular, it is planned to implement projects in the field of urban improvement and transport safety, as well as in the industrial sector with solutions aimed at digitalizing production processes.
