The Russian government has approved a list of types of recycled products whose manufacturers will receive state support from March 1, 2024. Relevant order signed Cabinet Chairman Mikhail Mishustin.

The list included various types of cement and concrete, building mixes, biofuels, fiberglass products, plastic products, cardboard, paper, mineral wool, crumb rubber coatings, rubber tiles, mastics and sealants, roofing and waterproofing materials. For each type of product, the minimum proportion of recyclable materials that must be used in production is indicated.

The decision is designed to increase the share of the use of secondary resources in production, reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills and reduce the negative impact on the environment. Support will be provided within the framework of the state program “Industrial Development and Increasing its Competitiveness” and the program of concessional loans of the Industrial Development Fund.

On March 21, on the Electronic Trading Platform for the purchase and sale of secondary material resources (ETP) of the Russian environmental operator, the average prices for recyclables were calculated. It was revealed that the average price for 1 kg of waste paper is 13 rubles, PET – 21 rubles, glass waste (mirrors) – 100 rubles, for 1 ton of ash and slag waste – 1 ruble.
