Bloomberg, which owns the financial information service Bloomberg Terminal, news agency and other media, has changed management. On Monday, August 21, the publication reported The Information. It refers to an internal company document sent to employees by owner Michael Bloomberg.
The letter informs that Vlad Klyachko, who was previously director of product and technology, will become the new CEO of Bloomberg LP. Mr. Bloomberg, who until now served as CEO, notes in a letter that he is not going to completely leave the company. The new head of the board of directors will be Mark Carney, who previously headed the Bank of England. In addition, Bloomberg will change the composition of the board of directors – new members will be invited to it, and current directors will become honorary members.
Also in the company the president and financial director will be replaced. J.P. Zammitt, who previously served as chief operating officer, will become president. Patti Roskill, who was responsible for the company’s accounting and reporting, will become CFO. Bloomberg declined to comment on information about the changes.
