Bulgaria, which buys about 90% of the oil it consumes from Russia, has received the right to refuse it only by 2024, Prime Minister Kiril Petkov said at the end of May. In October the republic brought out Russian suppliers of automotive fuel from sanctions until the end of 2024 due to the tense situation with fuel in the country. The main Russian supplier of motor fuel in Bulgaria is the company “Lukoil“, which owns the oil refinery “Lukoil Neftohm Burgas” and a whole network of filling stations.
