The Federal Customs Service of Russia reported in Telegramthat Lithuania has resumed accepting trucks from the Kaliningrad region. Earlier today, March 21, regional authorities reportedthat the passage of heavy trucks was stopped due to a large-scale failure in the operation of Lithuanian customs information systems.

“The Lithuanian side has started accepting trucks. In an hour and a half, 6 heavy trucks were accepted from the Kaliningrad region. There are 140 trucks in the queue,” the Federal Customs Service said in a statement.

As the agency previously reported, Lithuania, without explanation, stopped allowing trucks from the region from March 20 at 23:00 (00:00 Moscow time), resulting in a traffic jam of 140 heavy trucks at the border.
