Likhachev told Putin about the implementation of the state defense order by Rosatom

President Vladimir Putin met with the head of Rosatom Alexei Likhachev. He said that at the end of the year, the company’s revenue in the open part will exceed 2 trillion rubles. He also assured that Rosatom will fully fulfill the state defense order.

“Despite external pressure, we passed the first half of the year with confidence. All positive trends are preserved. We can now talk about the forecast until the end of the year in terms of economic indicators and major projects. The state defense order will be fulfilled by 100%,” said Mr. Likhachev (quote from site Kremlin).

According to him, the order of Rosatom enterprises for various products for the next 10 years is 15 trillion rubles, to a greater extent these are orders for Russian enterprises. In particular, this year the state corporation will produce 5 reactor vessels for nuclear power plants, which will be a record.

In December 2022, Vladimir Putin instructed adjust the parameters of the military-industrial complex and the state defense order. Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu saidthat in 2023 the state defense order will be increased by one and a half times.
